Administrative Assistant

OVERVIEW:

 

Performs a wide range of general accounting, bookkeeping and clerical support functions within the accounting department for multiple entities and HOA’s.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Post and verify receipt of member payments
  • Prepare and coordinate bank deposits to various accounts
  • E-mail and/or mail member statements in a timely manner
  • Research and post member account adjustments as approved
  • Perform monthly audit of house banks and safe
  • Verify invoice approvals and process accounts payable
  • Analyze A/P discrepancies and unpaid invoices
  • Maintain vendor files & collect W-9 forms
  • Post all daily business from F&B outlets and Golf/Tennis
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks as needed

Director of Food and Beverage

OVERVIEW:

 

The Director of Food and Beverage consistently provides superb dining and other food and beverage experiences for the Club’s membership and their guests. Responsible for coordinating and execution of Banquets, Catering and Club Events. Must be able to build and create, always raising the bar.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee all food and beverage operations, which include two distinct and extraordinary clubhouses (fine dining and casual), banquet facilities, pool area, tennis courtside grill, snack shack and on course member services (two 18 hole courses, comfort stations and beverage carts).
  • Oversee F&B personnel (including F&B Manager and Executive Chef), menus (with executive chef), ordering, vendor relations, food production, inventory, and catering production.
  • Will be an integral part of the success of the Club and a key member of the management team. Ultimate responsibility in the department for member and guest satisfaction and financial success.
  • This position requires a highly self- motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and who can graciously interact with both members and associates.
  • Strong mentoring skills are required to train and develop associates.
  • Develop and enhance consistent on-boarding and training programs for all food service personnel.
  • Lead a team comprised of the Food and Beverage Services Manager (or Assistant Manager), Food and Beverage Supervisor, Servers, Bartenders, Bussers and Banquet Staff.
  • Have a strong, highly visible and respectful presence with the membership, be an exceptional communicator.
  • Strong cross-departmental collaboration is required for reinforcing our vision of “One Team” serving the members and contributing to a working culture built on mutual trust and benefit of the overall team over the benefit of individuals.
  • Be a creator and innovator by continuing to raise the bar with events, menus, staffing and member relations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety, liquor consumption, and other food and beverage regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, as well as stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Is a passionate leader with strong food and beverage experience and a proven track record of providing elite-level services in a hospitality or membership constituency setting.
  • High school diploma required with a college degree preferred.
  • 5 years of high-profile culinary and service operations, preferably in a private club setting.
  • 5 years of successful experience in event and banquet planning and execution.

Server

OVERVIEW:

Servers at Glacier are responsible for serving food and beverages to Glacier members and associates in highly professional, timely, and friendly manner.  Ensuring an outstanding member experience and service is provided. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Greet members, seat and respond to inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

  • Checks members for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to members in accordance with federal, state, local laws and regulations

  • Present and serve fine dining service of both food and beverages to guests, with knowledge of items on all menus

  • Accurately total, process and collect payments from members to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, and making change

  • Knowledgeable and able to provide advice and suggestions on wine selections, while ensure proper wine server etiquette

  • Ensure dining areas are bussed and reset to Glacier standards properly and timely

  • Stock, maintain and organize the kitchen, server stations, bar and dining room

  • Assist team members with other duties as needed such as; bussing and resetting tables, polishing silverware and/or glasses, folding napkins, sweeping and/or cleaning floors, preparing food items, or any other restaurant/bar duties as assigned

  • Ensure all closing processes are completed and followed at the end of shift

  • Ability to provide excellent service while problem solving or under pressure

  • Team player that is always willing to help, while possessing a positive, inclusive and hardworking attitude

  • Set up dining area and event locations based on party/event sizes, which would include moving a variety of furniture

EDUCATIONAL, PROFESSIONAL, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Required to be at a minimum of 18 years of age

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Server in the restaurant industry preferred; ability to learn proper food and beverage service skills to Glacier standards required

  • Able to work with a computer-based food ordering system, point of sale system and ability to handle money

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • A friendly and energetic personality with a member service focus

  • Availability to work flexible shifts

  • Able to meet and maintain physical requirements

  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

  • Must be able to multi-task efficiently within a fast-paced and high stress environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to perform tasks that require: stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, walking indoors, walking outdoors, working at heights, lifting up to 30 lbs., carrying up to 30 lbs., pushing or pulling up to 30 lbs., reaching above the shoulder, reaching at shoulder level, and reaching below the shoulder

  • Able to stand and walk consistently throughout the day to food and beverage services on extensive patio and poolside, allowing for normal breaks

  • Ability to properly carry and lift a heavy tray set with multiple meals and/or bussed items

  • Must able to move furniture during events and for large dining room parties

  • Must be able to safely prepare, handle and dispose of dangerous or hazardous materials

Line Cook - Seasonal

OVERVIEW:

Line Cooks at Glacier are responsible for preparing food and recipes per the Executive Chef’s orders to Glacier members and associates in highly professional, timely, and friendly manner.  Occasional interaction with Glacier members is required and all Glacier associates are responsible for ensuring an outstanding member experience and service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Prepare and assembling ingredients and meals items per designated recipes and quality standards, while ensuring meals are aesthetically pleasing

  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times

  • Manage orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner

  • Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products

  • Stock and maintain designated food station(s)

  • Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen

  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations

  • Assist team members with other duties as needed in kitchen, staff, servers, bussers, and bartenders

  • Ability to perform at quick and efficient pace and while under pressure

  • Team player that is always willing to help, while possessing a positive, inclusive and hardworking attitude

OVERVIEW:

Dishwashers at Glacier are responsible for highly professional and timely washing of dishes, glasses, silverware, and cooking tools per the Executive Chef’s orders. Occasional interaction with Glacier members is required and all Glacier associates are responsible for ensuring an outstanding member experience and service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher timely, gently and properly to clean all chinaware, silverware and cooking utensils

  • Burnish, de-tarnish and polish silver

  • Perform cleaning duties as required to keep cooking areas, tools, and materials to Glacier service standards

  • Train other associates, as needed

  • Stock, maintain and organize supplies and equipment to Glacier service standards

EDUCATIONAL, PROFESSIONAL, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

  • Experience as a dishwasher preferred; ability to learn proper dishwashing skills and possess good work ethic required
