The Glacier Private Golf Club Experience
Memberships at Glacier enable you to experience two of the most scenic golf courses in the Colorado Rockies—The Valley Course and The Mountain Course.
Surrounded by scenery carved by ancient glaciers, and peaks that rise to 14,000 feet, these two 18-hole courses sit in the crisp, clean air found at 7,400 feet. The courses will challenge your skill and the scenery will astound you.
Initially designed in 1976 by renowned architect Arthur Hills, the course has been modernized with new bunkering, hazards, fast undulating greens and tee-to-green strategic playing options. You’ll find many elevation changes, challenging doglegs protected by trees and dramatic mountain views.
Best described with words like stunning, exciting and spectacular, this panoramic view course was designed by Todd Schoeder and 3-time U.S. Open Champion Hale Irwin. They utilized the land’s dramatic topography and extraordinary rock formations to inspire the course’s unique strategy and playability.
Additional amenities at Glacier include a state of the art practice facility with three putting and chipping greens, 13 acres of turf with target greens and a practice bunker all situated in the beautiful San Juan Mountains.
A full-service Golf Shop provides the latest in golf gear and sportswear as well as personal equipment fittings and individual or group lessons for all players and abilities. Our "Class A" PGA Professionals are on staff daily to answer questions, offer advice and meet all of your golfing needs.
Glacier sponsors and hosts a number of tournaments in the community such as the Duel in Durango, Crystal Pistols, Memorial Day Scramble and the Fandango Duet in the Mountains.
